Working at Dovetail Games saw me produce a wide variety of assets, with three examples on show here.
The first, livestream assets for the marketing and development team. An important part of Train Sim World 3’s launch back in September was streaming game tutorials and various related content to keep up our “marketing beats”. It was my job to create different streaming assets such as cam views, and game and cam views so our content had great continuity, felt on-brand as well as pointing viewers to our socials.
Second is a few examples of assets created for TSW2 [previous game] for use in store. They showcase my ability to stick to brand guidelines, reformatting content for different platforms and sizes.
Considerations included making sure the typography is legible and readable., composition of the imagery sells the product best, making sure there is an obvious focal point.
Thirdly, supporting the marketing and the socials team I created varied assets for Dovetail Games’ second largest title, BassMaster 2022. All assets have to be made in a series of file sizes to accommodate different marketing platforms and purposes.
These two examples are Photoshop heavy, using a lot of masking, layering, blending modes and textures to build up an eye catching piece of marketing that serves it’s purpose.
